Price drop per Jan 5th.

Selling this Emperor 5 with Chestnut Burl Top - which is not available anymore.

19mm spacing at bridge, adjustable +/- 0,5mm

This bass has a retail price of >11.000 USD (+shipping and customs). It is a 36" scale and probably not comfortable for everybody. But it balances well on the shoulders and provides a huuuge B string. These older 90s Foderas have their unique own charme, play extraordinarily well and have a nice smooth flavour in the sound.

A few dings and dongs here and there but nothing to show in pics. The frets are still even and the action could be set too low without buzz. Bridge looks worn but works fine.

Chestnut is one of the most sought after Fodera top woods - unfortunately extinct now. Honduran Mahogany has been used until about 2003 as body wood and was preferred for its rich tone. It has become unbelievable expensive now and will not be available for Fodera bodies anymore.

This is, bar none, by far the most gorgeous Fodera I've ever seen. In person it must be sensational!!!

Outside my price range, but still very cheap for what it is. Unlike a certain 30K Fodera - I'd wager this one will shift at at least this price (with a little patience, as it's a niche boutique bass) from now untill 3015 C.E.
