I'm looking for a 5-string fretless and that really would be just the ticket, I really liked my old Bongo V. I assume it's factory Fretless? Can you let me have string spacings, nut width etc? [/font][/color]You can check the serial number, if you want. String spacing is [color=#000000][font=Helvetica, Arial, FreeSans, sans-serif][size=3]11/16". [/size][/font][/color]Neck Width is 1-3/4" (44.5 mm) at nut 2-13/16" (71.4 mm) at last fret. Strings aren't precariously close to the edge of the board. I can make a picture, if you want. I had this problem with other bass guitars (five string Fenders typically), but not here. Bass is fine. Everything works great. Whilst I'm extremely tempted, I've done as much reading on the model as I can and have come to the conclusion that I really do need to play one before buying! It goes without saying that there ain't a whole lot of fretless Bongo 5s in bass shops here!
