I'm currently using an Epiphone Toby Deluxe IV Bass and my Line 6 practice amp. I'm also taking lessons from the wonderfully talented and friendly Jon Caulfield. The lessons are going great, Jon is an excellent tutor and very knowledgable! I'm looking forward to communicating with like minded folk and learning as much as I can and just having fun here. Felt a bit daunted before I started lessons, used to think I should know more about equipment and musical theory but I'm just going to have fun and pick up as much as I can. [/quote] Hello again Mike, As Gelfin says, the Cardiff bass bash is one to keep an eye out for Gelfin himself kindly puts this event on, and I'd highly recommend coming along It's a great way to meet other local bass players, and swap ideas, ask questions, or indeed answer a few Several of us bring gear along, and it's a great opportunity to try out a bass, an amp, or some effects The regular attendees are a great bunch, really friendly etc So we hope to see you at the next one....
