dadofsix Posted December 16, 2014 Share Posted December 16, 2014 Hey, folks. A longtime reader who deeply enjoys the topics discussed, and the wit employed, in most of the threads. I've been a musician since I was seven or eight, learning the piano on my Grama's lap and, as I got older, moving on to stringed instruments. Played in a number of bands until my late twenties when I got married and raised a passle of kids (I kept all my basses and guitars, though). When the kids moved out, boredom set in. Live music became my friend again. While I'm presently playing with three bands here in Southwestern Virginia, I still love playing with new people and having my musical definitions stretched. While I'm not much of a "poster," I do read a lot and, sometimes, even learn a lot.
