This is a hybrid passive four-string P bass.

The body is from a Fender Squier Matt Freeman Precision bass, purchased new in Jan, 2013.

- contoured basswood body finished in Vintage White
- HiMass™ bridge with four brass barrel saddles


The neck is from a Fender Modern Player Satin Jazz bass, purchased new in Nov, 2013.

- maple neck with "C"-shaped profile
- 9.5"-radius rosewood fingerboard with 20 jumbo frets
- easy-access truss rod adjustment wheel

The neck join is good but not air-tight (see photo, below).

Currently strung with La Bella 760FL 43-104 flatwounds.

The bass is in very good condition. I have gone over it this evening and the only ding I found is on the body where it meets the neck (see photo, below).

The bathroom scales weight is 3.3kg (7lb 4oz).

The bridge and pickup covers were imported from America (due to the HiMass bridge).

Included but not pictured: tug bar.

I will include, for free, an old but functional generic shaped case.

Bass is located in Wimbledon. Collection (and try-out) is welcome. Or I could possibly deliver or meet half way, if you are in the south-east -- please PM to discuss. Or I can post within the UK for £10.

I have now learned how to set the white balance on my camera. The actual colour is closer to this:
