The way I look at it, there are many die hard Zvex fans out there, and the CEO is shamelessly exploiting that fact. I thought the Woolly Mammoth was a ridiculously overpriced pedal given its simplicity and the ease of cloning it, now that looks a complete bargain.... fretmeister Posted January 26, 2015 Share Posted January 26, 2015 The best thing about Zvex is that they make great pedals that are easy to clone and put in a far more sensible shape enclosure. I have a clone of the Fuzz Factory that I A/B tested with a real one. Can't tell the difference at all. It was half the price and is in a standard shape box.
