Up for sale is this beautiful 1973 Fender Precision. It has some 72' parts, like the neck, pickup and pots. But i guess it was finished in 73' due to the serial number.

It has been made fretless with a new board by the original owner during the 80's. I dont know what kind of wood has been used, but i guess its rosewood.

**UPDATE** Its "only" a thin thin veneer on top of the old fingerboard. So it can be restored to a GREAT fretted bass again with a refret. See pics

Neck is straight as an arrow and truss rod works perfectly.

There are a few things that needs to be mentioned. Some of the screws in the bridge has stuck so it needs some TLC as well. Also one of the screws for the tuners is missing.
But other than that the bass plays beautifully and looks amazing. The sunburst is gorgeous and the neck feels just right. Weight is on the lighter side of the scale as well. Straight out 4060grammes all dressed.

Currently strung with old Rotos 66'. Sounds perfect.

Case is not original, but an old 70's relic.

Regarding the asking price I am in a bit of doubt what is a reasonable asking price. I have set the price at 1250£ but i am open to offers if im totally off. Also, trade with a 5-string or partial trades are welcome.

Bass is located in Denmark. So lets discuss shipping if interested in the bass.
