I just love the look of Marks Limelight basses
This one looks the bees knees too
Something about that colour, reliced, and with the tort scratchplate...
.... stunning :)

Sadly, I really don't need another Jazz
Or I'd be severely tempted by this beauty

I know you prefer maple fretboards, but it sounds like you love this bass
Are you really sure you want to part with it?
Honestly, I'd think twice....

Anyhow, if you're sure - GLWTS
.... and get another Limelight - with maple :)

A lot of these being ordered, but a lot coming back up for sale?

I love the look of them. Perfect attention to detail.

FWIW, I sold my J 'cos I'm hooked and I want a P.

The order is going in when I can decide on the spec...

Merely an observation, i'm interested in ordering myself but would like to try one first.

It would be a P with a 40mm nut!

Every night I kick myself for ordering rosewood board.

Why dont you ask Mark if he can swap the neck?

I got mine in the summer last year and its going nowhere

Same goes for me! I really thought carefully about nine and it turned out perfectly. It'll be the last thing to go as I use it for EVERYTHING. It plays like a total dream and always gets compliments :-)

I foolishly put mine up for sale around a month ago - I'm moving and thought I'd reduce the bulk, plus I play short scale most of the time. A stupid idea and I returned to my senses - in some measure as a result of posts and PMs on here. I played the L this morning and maintain its the best Fender type bass I've owned (and that's loads with some very expensive super boutiques in there). Don't be fooled by some extremely reasonable prices! And bump...looking forward to seeing a burgundy P with maple neck on here.

Another in agreement here Karlfer
Mark seems such a reasonable guy to deal with,
I'm sure he'd do any mods for you

Also, I don't know how he achieves that fantastic finish on the necks he fits - they really do feel aged & worn-in
Maybe he'd offer you a refund / part-ex on your old neck? Or maybe someone else would buy the neck from you?

I can't believe just how good Limelights are....

Another fan here.
I was lucky I guess, I bought one that had been specced by someone else, turns out it was probably what I should have chosen if I had custom ordered myself but very unlikely I would've picked a p body.

I think the maple jazz neck is a perfect combo for a precision. If any of you are in the north west you're welcome me to try it out. ( but it won't be leaving anytime soon  )

GLWTS Karl. They dont seem to stick around long.

Sea Foam Green does not look right on a P. It is the law.
Too true!! It's too dark.

Surf green on the other hand, or Daphne Blue for that matter, look great!

I am such a fan of those colours, but recently I've started to worry I'll look like i'm in a Blink182 tribute band if I buy one.

Hell yeah. Limelight me up!

Burgundy P, Maple boarded jazz neck.
What colour pickguard are you thinking of with that, Karl? :D

He will then put this one up for sale at £800 :P
I'm guessing ...a little more than that. :)
