Pow_22 Posted January 24, 2015 Share Posted January 24, 2015 Ive got an old Bullet coiled cable that needs some TLC. When used it just gives an earthy hum. One of the jacks looks slightly corroded but i can get to the soldered parts to check them. Anyone know anywhere in North West that does cable repairs? Musky Posted January 24, 2015 Share Posted January 24, 2015 If you can't get into the jack to inspect the connections just snip off the jack, bin it and fit a new one. I suppose if you're going to take this route you may as well try mole grips on both the shaft and body of the jack - it may well destroy it but if you're prepared to replace it anyway. ..
