Any information on a Peavey International 5?

Hi,
I brought this bass in a 2nd hand shop for dirt cheap, has a fair few chips and one of the tuners was broken and had some issues finding the right ones int he same colour (hence 4 being black and 1 silver).
I was just wondering if anyone knew much about them? Like when they where made, price new, price now, what this should be worth (thinking of selling it), and any ideas on the pickups and woods used.

Thanks in advance :)

These were made in the far east, not sure where. probably retailed around £400 New, but not worth selling as I only paid £100 for mine. It's too good a bass to sell for so little!

Neck is maple/rosewood, body is alder I believe but could be wrong. Pickups are made by Peavey, nothing special but nice enough to not need replacing to sound good. Enjoy it! They are really comfortable solid instruments :)

Bought an orange one new 8-ish years ago for about £190 I think. Still got it, done 100s of gigs with it. Its still the benchmark I measure all other 5 string necks against. Only ever played one I ever thought was significantly nicer, and that was a wooden Status.

I have an orange flame maple top one and it is in perfect condition. Had it from new about 10 years ago. Think the body is basswood though rather than alder. My mates clubbed together and bought it for me for my birthday when I was off around the world. I like it, maple neck and rosewood board. Fit and finish are really really good for the price point. Could never get it to sound anything other than bass heavy, always struggled to get it to record with top end coming through.
