Anyone regularly travel from London to somewhere near or further north than the Midlands?

A cheap bass that I want has just appeared on eBay. The main problem is that it's in Marylebone and collection only.

For an expensive item I'd have no problem making the journey myself. As it's a rather good price I'd be spending half as much again on diesel or even more if I used the,over priced, replacement bus service network.

If there is some kind bass chatter that regularly commutes my direction who'd be willing to help out then I'd appreciate hearing from you.

I can't help getting it from the smoke but I could get it from the Midlands to up't north (im on my mobile, can't see your location) if someone could get it to the Midlands.

The "or further north" was more of a, if you happen to be driving up the M1 past the Midlands.

I could get it from London to Brackley, South Northants next weekend. Maybe someone else could help getting it further North?

I travel from Marylebone to Birmingham/Sutton Coldfield every Thursday, sometimes Friday.

I commute from London to Grantham every Friday (night), if you're stuck I can help, but arranging a pick up might be difficult as I am out and about a lot at the weekend.
