paddy mcbride Posted February 20, 2015 Share Posted February 20, 2015 (edited) I'm playing through an Ampeg SVT6 Pro which I've had for about 7 years now. Recently, I've noticed that I need to turn the master volume up a lot louder to get the same volume out of the amp. The amp is a hybrid with 4no 12AX7 and 2no 12AU7 valves in it. Could these be the root of the problem, are they likely to be worn and thus reducing the output? Any advice will be appreciated, thank you.
