1989 Stingray in amazing condition. I have owned 'Rays from every single decade, from pre-EB to current and Classics, about thirty of them, and IMHO 1989 is the best year ever for EBMM production: These particular saddles allow lower action than ever in the past, and still you have the mutes, classic design preamp, metal battery cover, the gorgeous birdseye glossy neck with bullet trussrod and the skunk stripe.

Comes with the Musicman hardcase, set-up with new 40-100 DR Sunbeams strings with a very low action, Dunlop dual straplocks and a couple of extra and very expensive WD Music thick pickguards: White and Red Tortoise in addition to the black original one that is of course included in the sale.

This bass sounds awesome, very warm and punchy. Here's a video from the previous owner:

£1195 firm + shipping (about £45 to any EU country with a traceable service). Bank wire or Paypal if you cover the fees.
Price is non negotiable and what I paid past year for this great 'Ray and the extras. No trades, I just need the funds guys.

I have two 'Rays, both 2-eq from 1989 and IMHO - after having had 'Rays from every decade, like jsixties had, from pre-EB to current production. about 10 - 12 in total - this is the golden era. And they allow low action to a level that pre-EB or Classic do not (because of the saddles design).

Hi Rodney,
Yes, the black guard is the one in the video, included in the sale too. Original strap buttons and Dunlop dual.
I guess the Musicman logo hardcase is the period correct, in any chance is the one I've got.
Not a weighty bass, nor in the light side. I will try to get the exact figure asap.
Cheers
