I'm in. Might be able to pull 2 non BC member bass friends along too if it is allowed.

Aside from the bass rig, I can bring my portable e drums and jamhub if people are up to some silent jamming. Just let me know if you guys are interested. :-)

I'd be up for a little silent jam, if it's OK with the organisers.

Well you might be asking yourself, "why should I bother going?"...well for the price of a raffle ticket you could win, amongst others, one of the following:

MM RAY4 SUB Bass in Walnut Satin
Ernie Ball Regular Bass strings (6 sets)
12 Ernie Ball Black Poly Straps
Various stickers ETC
"Plectrum Technique" by Stu Clayton
"Advanced Studies for Bass Guitar" by Stuart Clayton

So ask yourself, where else can you spend a day with like-minded people, try high end equipment (which you'd probably not find in any shop), expand your knowledge, put faces to avatars and have the the chance to win 1 of a possible 23 prizes all of which are easily worth the cost of entry and a raffle ticket.

You'll also be able to take part in a fun seminar, facilitated by Lozz and pick SiBob's brain about effects.

Prizes courtesy of EBUK Strings&things and Stuart Clayton.

I am happy to report that D'Addario have also generously agreed to support the event with some raffle prizes and a seminar with Q&As afterwards. The list of raffle prizes is growing making the £10 entry and the cost of raffle tickets very good value - meeting up with fellow BCers...priceless.

Raffle prizes include:

Ernie Ball Regular Bass strings (6 sets)
12 Ernie Ball Black Poly Straps
Various stickers ETC
"Plectrum Technique" by Stu Clayton
"Advanced Studies for Bass Guitar" by Stuart Clayton
Various items from D'Addario (to be announced)

Those are some excellent prizes there, that's a proper raffle.

For those attending and intending to bring a bass, can you post something advising what bass and what type of fretboard (Rose or Maple) you're planning on bringing.

We're looking for 4 or 5 pairs of basses to use for the blind test. Really looking for P bass, Jazz, MM Ray and 1 or 2 other pairs, possibly Warwicks/Ibanez/Yamaha.
