woodenshirt Posted May 18, 2007 Share Posted May 18, 2007 Hello everybody, This is me: I'm an ex-Bassworlder, ex-Basstalker from somewhere near Stoke on Trent. I've been playing music for nearly forty years - I'm not that old really I just started early (honest). I play Bass (obviously) and sing in a rock/r'n'b trio. My favourite bands include The Pirates, Dr feelgood and most rock bands from the seventies. My gear: In my time I have owned lots and lots of basses, most have gone but some still remain. I don't think of myself as a collector but I'm told that I am. Currently I have some old Fender Precision and Jazz Basses, a Gibson Thunderbird, a Rickenbacker 4003s, some Musicman Basses and a couple of others. I have a Mesa Walkabout Scout 12 and a Ampeg B100r (one that works!) for making noise. My live set up is usually the Scout and a couple of StingRays.
