backwater Posted April 14, 2015 Share Posted April 14, 2015 Hi Folks, I bought a Steinberger XT25 5-string and it came with an gig bag but I'm not sure I'd trust it with the rest of the gear in the van. Searching around on the web hasn't found much but thomann have the cases below. Does anyone know if any of these cases will fit the XT25? I suppose a better question for me to ask is are the Steinberger XT, XT25 and Hohner B2AV the same dimensions? [/quote] I'd looked at getting one made but it's a lot cheaper to get a ready made case if one exists so I thought I'd try that route first. [/quote] Thanks for that. 2mm neck width difference between the xt25 and B2AV should be manageable and length wise it looks like the B2AV case would fit ok. From the basic specs on the steinberger site it looks like the XT , XT25 and synapse necks are pretty much the same but no body width is given.
