Speaker backplate/plugs

They're all inputs, probably wired in parallel. Two jacks and one speakon. They would also act as a link to another cab, although I wouldn't recommend playing with this as your cab is 4 ohm impedance. Most amps have 4 ohms as the minimum impedance they'll work with. Adding another 4 ohm cab (in parallel as it usually is) would take the load down to 2 ohms - not many amps like that.

That's interesting? (and confusing).

Not the first time I've been described like that. :)

To get two speakers in parallel you can either join them together at the speaker end or the socket end.

Joining them at the speaker end in a front loaded cab is more awkward than just gathering the two cables at the backplate and soldering them in one hit.

It also means that you still have a connection to one speaker if one of the cables fails.

Hi Mark,

All the connectors on the back of the cab are internally connected together, so you have a choice
of inputs to use..
The speakers are connected in parallel internally so you get a 4 ohm cab..
