Compressors that run on batteries - options?

I'm looking for a compressor for basic home recording duties, but I want something that runs on batteries so I can just grab it plug in and go. I liked the look of both the Diamond and the Empress but neither run on batteries.

I've been through the obligitory compressor resource http://www.ovnilab.com/ but it's not clear what runs on batteries and what doesn't.

Any recomendations?

Demeter Compulator is a fine, musical, compressor that works on a 9v battery.

I ran a test yesterday of the Aguilar TLC vs Demeter vs Diamond.

I really like all three of these and they all do slightly different things in slightly different ways. The Aguilar runs on a 9v battery as well.

At the LBGS I tried an Aguilar TLC and was very impressed with it. Probably had a lot to do with the guys on the stand explaining it all properly to me, but I told them what I was looking for and they just set it up instantly to do what I wanted. I found it to have very little colouration of the sound, if any. I`m pretty sure I`ll end up with one of these at some point.
