Labeled #40 on the inside, branded inside & out, the earliest I've seen. Bell-shaped neck block & rib bindings which were the norm until around 1941. 1936 was the first year of production & made until 1965. Excellent condition, original varnish, original rosewood fingerboard was changed for a much better ebony one. Big, punchy, dark sound. I used it on numerous recordings & gigs. Comes with David Gage pickup and new Mooradian soft case. I'm based in Dublin, Ireland.
