Geddys nose Posted June 19, 2015 Author Share Posted June 19, 2015 Thanks for the nice comments Had another quick go and love the Tone of it also the volume is far better than my 111E (Should be with the price but its always nice to hear how the better woods & construction have a result on the core instrument) Really find it easier to play too, The Setup is near perfect for me. I was in love with my Duke but had to let it go on account of getting another great bass which I just could not afford to miss out on. WHEN I win the lottery, I'm getting another Duke for sure. Your bass was one of the reasons for getting a Duke from past threads, Thanks for them! Quite interested in the Blast Cult hybrids, The gut alike are nice strings but a bit flubby on the E & A I'd imagine the Hybrids would tighten up them 2 strings a little bit. They are also long lasting though the guts are somewhat hairier than others, but very long lasting and great tone. A bit of easy weekly maintenance with nail clippers and almond oil and you are in for a long time of enjoyment in my opinion.
