I am Dutch and have been living in the UK since 1997. I am approaching my 50s, and I have been playing bass for only about 12 years now, after years of playing keyboards and a bit of electric guitar. I am entirely self-taught, and would love to find the time for a proper part-time bass guitar course (suggestions welcome). I am based in South Oxfordshire and recently co-founded a Red Hot Chili Peppers tribute band. We have had a couple of gigs so far, and hope to play more in the local area. In the past, I played bass in a funk/rock and a garage rock band. My main guitar is a beautiful Warwick Streamer LX Jazzman, which I have from new (a present from my wife in 2009), played through a Gallien-Krueger head/cab combination. In the meantime, I'll try to find my way around here, as I do have a question about a snapped machinehead. See you around!
