I soldered up some patch cables with the standard Neutrik right angled jack but they just look massive on my small board. Any suggestions for other types/brands? These ones seem really good---solidly built, and they have the added bonus of having solder connections for both signal and shield (some cheaper ones need you to solder directly to the case for the shield). They also have a little plastic "cover" to help protect the signal connection from grounding on the outer case. I made up four patch cables using these and some Sommer Spirit XXL cable, every one worked first time. I haven't any experience of other pancake jacks but these ones will do me absolutely fine. If anyone is interested I can make custom sizes too. I stuck an advert up on the 'affiliates' page - 10% discount (i.e. 10% less than the ebay price). These little jacks in my opinion are just as good with regards to sound and are very low profile.
