I Would contact this seller. The thread is locked, but possibly in error as only one of the two have been sold by the looks of things

I'm sure Alan, ACG, did one. I seem to remember talking about it at the last UK Bass Day.
Unless you ask for something different his Filter Based pre is the standard on all his custom bases.
Worth contacting him as it never went into production, but you never know.

Just pondering recently if such a thing was available anywhere and wondered if anyone on here had ever seen or heard of one they could point me towards?

Craig Anderton published his design for one many many years ago, in Electronic Projects For Musicians, which is still in print. I intend to take a stab at my own take on one pretty soon as well.

Maybe if you could get hold of an ACG EQ02 you could install it (or have somebody else install it) in a pedal enclosure? The EQ01 wouldn't be ideal as it has 2 bass stacks, one per pickup, so with a single jack input one would be unused. The EQ02 has global bass and treble filter stacks and was available in single pickup versions - all you'd need is to attach a jack to the preamp's pickup input and you'd be good to go.

Thanks for the replys guys. Given me a few ideas.Unfortunately any attempt by me to construct one out of components from a schematic is almost guaranteed to result in certain death for anyone foolish enough to connect a cable to it! I think Bigwan may have come up with a winner though. I'll have a look into it :).
