Ashdown RM-110 cab

Yep, got one of the first ones to come into the UK. Nice little cab for the money IMO. I suspect a pair would make a very good little cost-effective stack.

Compared to the more boutique cabs I'm sure it would fall down sonically but for my specific needs it is bang on the money and I'm tempted by a second one...

Hey, thanks for the reply :)

liking the little cab thus far but unsure if the tweeter is working or not?? If it is, it is very very subtle. I use it in the off position anyhoo.

Yeah it would make an awesome little rig, adding another. However, with an ampeg micro vr rig plus second cab, would be a wee bit cheeky to add another rm10.

cheers

The tweeter is very subtle - stick some music through it though and you'll hear the difference :)

I'm currently talking to Ashdown about a customised version of the RM110, only aesthetic changes but if it all goes to plan will reveal here soon!

So here's the little secret, classic line style red cloth grille...:

Obviously the red grille changes the tone immensely ;)

I also took the time to stick wadding in the cab as it was unlined. This has tightened up the bottom end and focused the mids, well worth the effort.
