SOLD Fender Custom Shop 1951 Nocaster / Telecaster
£1700

Recommended Posts

Now £1600 OVNO

Made in 2008 this is a killer Nocaster, it sounds as solid as it feels. It's a 2008 model with upgraded Callaham compensated saddles (which intonate perfectly as opposed to the originals) and screwed in vintage style jack socket which solves the issues of the originals coming loose whilst also allowing use of right angles jacks which the originals don't allow.

It has Nocaster pickups, 9.50 radius and a modern C neck shape according to the Custom Shop shop floor traveller - but it is a beautifully chunky neck in true Nocaster fashion so all you skinny neck dudes better move along now!

Weighs a very comfy 7.44 lbs

Comes with original case, certificate and hang tag. Also comes with original jack socket. The original saddles had rusted screws stuck in them beyond repair (nice one custom shop...) but they are included in the sale, though obviously not working as they should.

I'm selling this as I need some cash back, but trades may be possible for the right bass. I'm GAS free at the moment so it'll have to only be one I'm comfortable selling on. No trades by post please.

Cheers :)

Whoa what an amazing guitar. My bro had a blonde one of these a few years back and it was stunning to play. The big neck certainly translated to some massive sustain and tone.

Completely off the point - but that's an extraordinary looking rabbit you've got there too! Is it like a professional model rabbit or something? Wow.

Right you are pal, those necks definitely add to the tone in a great way, I had a 55 P Bass with a huge neck and the sound was mighty too.

Jodie appreciated the comments :) She's a Mini Rex and has one heck of a personality!

I spy a rex! Is she house trained?

Nice geetaw too.
[/quote]

Yup, a Mini Rex though she's a tad bigger then your average one and our other Mini Rex is a tad a smaller than your average one so they make quite a pair. They are pretty much house trained, but need supervision otherwise their cheeky sides come out. I'm sure they'd relic an NOS guitar quite well....

Thanks

I'm in Harrow. Very close to Harrow & Wealdstone station which is 15 mins from London Euston on a fast overground train.

Cheers.

Is that the guitar or the rabbit?

As you are chilli wailer, does that make her Bunny Wailer?

Anyway, crap jokes aside, that is an outstanding guitar, and I would think it will only increase in value, so, whether gigged or kept for studio work, it's a great buy. If only I had £1,600!

GLWTS.
