Fitting a GK-3B

Is a real faff.

Having fitted a GK3 to several guitars, it was easy and not a problem to fit.

So I got a GK-3B (with a GR-55) to fit on a bass. Was going to put it on the G&L, as it is a cheapish bass, but not sure if I am going to keep that one yet. Did want to put it on my ibanez 1605, but no way it would fit easily there, and was a bit reluctant to put it on the ACG, as it is the most expensive.

Decided on the P bass. Got to be easy to fit something on possibly the most common bass on the planet? Nope. All of the pictures you find about fitting it on a bass are done on a jazz, which it does actually fit, because there is no easy room to put one on a P. Google search even proved useless trying to find someone who had done it.

So here it is, a GK-3B on a P Bass:

actually works very well.
