Schedule for the day:

Herts Bass Bash Schedule

12.00 Doors Open – Come to reception, get yourself booked in and make your contribution to the keeping the club open.

This allows time for people to get a complementary tea/coffee, get acquainted, set up their gear and try out whatever is available (by permission of the owner).

A Photographer will be on site during the event so you can be immortalised with your favourite instrument.

1.30 Seminar – The Di/Preamp pedal Shoot out – hosted by Lozz196 – If you have a DI/Preamp pedal which could be part of the test please contact Lozz. Check the link for more detail:

http://basschat.co.u...pedal-shootout/

Following the seminar you will be able to try the pedals tested, chat and try out gear (by permission of the owner).

3.00 – Seminar – Enfield Basses – hosted by Doctor of the Bass, Nick Smith – Nick will demonstrate the basses, the SimS p/up system and also have Enfield Basses to try.

4.00 – Raffle – prizes include a MM SUB Ray(RRP £309) signed by Jools Holland and his R&B Orchestra, a 1902 Bass Kings Ale Bottle signed by Mark King of Level 42, a signed copy of the LBGS edition of Bass Guitar Magazine signed by Robert Trujillo of Metallica, tuners, strings and numerous other Bass related prizes.

Tickets for the raffle will be available to buy from the canteen throughout the day.

5.15 – event finishes. Safe journey home folks.

We've hopefully managed to avoid all the major sports events this year - European Championships being on from 10th June till 10th July with the British F1 on the last day too.

So we've booked the same venue as the past couple of years and will have the whole of the ground floor as before. Looking to put on a couple of seminars again this year and hopefully Andy from D'Addario will be able to support the event again.

Previous events:
http://basschat.co.u...unday-6th-july/
http://basschat.co.u...th-london-bash/
http://basschat.co.u...june-12-to-5pm/

Anybody looking to recycle bits of unwanted gear please bear us in mind - we can use additional prizes for the raffle. I've managed to acquire some interesting items for the raffle that will hopefully go down well.

We'll be adding details of seminars, etc as they are finalised.

So the details:

Time and Date: 12.00 till 5.00 on 5th June 2016

Venue: Breaks Manor
Link Drive
Hatfield
AL10 8TP
http://www.breaksman...owtofindus.html

Cost: £10 - all proceeds go to the venue.

For those who haven't been before it's the yellow mock Tudor building opposite the tower block just outside the town centre. Ample parking both on site and within easy walking distance.

We need to have around 30 attendees to justify the cost of the event so if you're interested in attending please add your details to the list below.

I've got a bit of surgery coming sometime this year, but I don't know when... so unless I'm in hospital, unable to walk after surgery, or I die on the table, I can't see me missing this. It was great last year.

Hi Rich, interestingly enough, we have a plan for pre-amp/DI pedals for this year. Just got to hope I don`t end up with everyone having the same pedal, although if there`s only a few different types I`ll be able to go into the features a bit more, so should all still go well.

My SansAmp Para Driver is always on my board so that could be used as well (seeing as most folks have used one in the past and nearly everyone aims for that SVT tone anyway ;) )
