sold: 1920's Hungarian Double Bass (Blonde) project

I'm thinking of passing this onto another BC'er if any body is keen. Everything is there, although the soundpost has dropped. Painted f/board has been stripped to reveal maple, which has been treated with Rustins PLastic Coating (used it on FL basses before and it's great - similar to Jaco's concept but easier to apply/finish than boat epoxy!). Two bridges. Excellent cover & stand and I could include a set of the new/gold tuners (as cost) if preferred/wanted.

Hi david, I've been looking at this for months but it would be a big commitment to collect let alone to finish! Can you tempt me with any more information? Dimensions would certainly be a start, but history etc would help also. I assume the bottom pic is the bass before it was stripped and dismantled? If so, how did it sound/play then? It looks blonde in the pic but the scroll appears dark in the pic next to it, is the neck original to the bass? Any/all info gratefully received.
Cheers
Chris
