Really enjoying this Bass, a pleasure to look at and the tone is just pure classic Rickenbacker these 2004 basses have the older pickups , the poured resin shark inlays, one piece neck, and the 330k pots which sound spot on to me. Classic ric tone without the worry of looking after an older 4001 and the problems that can bring. The Montezuma is very rare and very few of them made it to the uk total production between 2004 and 2006 was colour of the year 2004 but it took Rickenbacker a couple of years to build the basses that were ordered, total made was 300 Basses. if you see one grab it !!!!
