They've admitted they have lost it and claim full responsibility. Sellers beware, this is shocking.

That's bad news - sorry to hear it.

Although IMO it's not shocking. Shocking would be if they didn't admit it, and didn't claim responsibility.

I hope someone noticed the lost item compensation limits on their T&C, and that it was enough.

This is why I always collect.

You can get advance train tickets for a really good price if you're prepared to be flexible.

I picked by Roscoe up from Warrington, the fare was £12 return.

Bass was from Germany. But yes i should of taken a holiday over to get it. Ive recieved many basses from Europe and USA with no problem in the last 17 years. This is a first for me.

Didn't realise that, but I just don't trust them I guess.

Horrible news I feel for you, so much sympathy.
I thought dpd were supposed to be good.

This is why I've never bought a bass or items over a certain value by post. I've sent many basses however thankfully never a issue, but I always think it will happen to me when buying.

I really hope it was insured ok and you get the money back. Keep us informed.

I wonder where it actually ended up? It's not like they disappear into the ether! Half-inched by someone at a depot? Mistakenly delivered elsewhere?
I have not suggested to them that I think it was stolen yet. Although I did suggest maybe they sent it to the wrong address and skipped the depot scans but of course they cant answer to that.

Not your problem then, it's up to the seller/shop to claim the insurance and then either refund you or get you the bass yyou paid for
I wish it was as easy as that, but why would the seller cough up?

Isn't it down to the person who arranged the courier to give money back and chase said courier? did you organise OP or
was it the seller?
That's what I'd think too...
