I like the look of these. Expensive toy?
Fender'77 Telecaster bass, Washburn Status(made passive), steinberger xm2 custom,
Dean Taxi Bass(hollowbody),Vester custom shop fretless, 8 string,& 6 string by CH guitars,and of course my jd bass byC H guitars.
The cull has started; aiming to be totally headless;)

Boss me-8b, meb-50, Zoom b2 1u, GK micro combo

I'm losing my head. Looking for headless basses. Miss the '80s ;)

I play with a drummer occasionally who can get amazing grooves out of his, but he's trained in hand percussion, tabla and all sorts.

But yeah if you can play, they're great.

I had one of these and they are marvellous. I have some recordings with it on. Here is one. The basic percussion track is a Handsonic Loop. There is additional percussion on there that is also the Handsonic and there is some real percussion too. I have other that are interesting and will try and post them.

I have a Korg Wavedrum (Global edition), which is a similar concept but a bit cheaper. I really rate it, though I have yet to use it on a recording. It has a real, tunable, drum skin and is very responsive to different kinds of touch, muting etc. No MIDI out though.
