White P bass - pickguard change?

Hi all,

I have a white P bass with a black pickguard on it and have been thinking about changing it for something new. I have thought about a tort guard but thinking I probably fancy something a bit different. Has anyone got any pics of their white Ps they can post for some inspiration?!

A pic of mine in its current form is below.

Cheers

Tort would be good if it were good tort. Which it mostly isn't, unless you want to spend a bit. White, black and maple is a classic combination and shouldn't be messed with in my opinion... ;) but there are three main options, which are gold anodized, cream and mint. All look great with white and maple. Avoid any kind of primary colour or any kind of pearl guard unless you want to look like you're on your way to the circus. That is all!! :D

Nothing better then a white guard on a white bass. Pimp and classy at the same time. Just looks and screams "Clean"

Can't agree. There are a million shades of white. Get the wrong shade it looks awful.

Definitely. When I mentioned white, it has to be the slightly off-white like "Olympic White" rather than the bright clean white that's available on the Mexican Standards
