This is a supposedly 'budget' model of the legendary Guild Pilot bass (as used by bassists as musically varied in style as Jaco Pastorius, Gary Tallent, Darryl Jones, Benjamin Orr, Jerry Peek, Gary King & many more). However, nothing about it is 'budget'..... rather it is perfectly suited to [i]any[/i] working bassist with a penchant for full, clear & punchy tones. Build quality and feel are excellent, with one of the nicest jazz-style necks I've played! Pickups are PJ in configuration with a 3 band EQ which really comes into its own when the mid control is utilised... Condition is almost mint.....and, it has had a full setup/clean recently too!
