It sounds good, but I don't know if nylon tapewound strings could sound more audible unplugged, without loose the deep. Please, give me your opinion and your experience. In my experience, the D'Addario Chromes are some of the brightest-sounding flats available; for a more zingy sound you may have to move to rounds, in particular to phosphor-bronze. In my case, the bass is fretless and the noise there is not important but the bronze strings are not an option. I don't want hurt the fingerboard.
