For trade is a transitional period 73/4 P bass that looks like it has hardly been played - with a dead straight neck that plays with a low action right the way up the neck - and growls like only a P bass can.

Weighing in at just over 8.1lbs and with just one or two dings and dongs, this is a terrific bass. A couple of pieces of wiring have been changed and the original pickups have been given additional copper shielding for better noise cancellation when playing live and it has a Brass nut fitted too (currently strung with DR Sunbeams) and includes the bridge and pickup covers. There is no case though.

This was sourced through a very reliable and highly regarded Basschatter. Given his expertise on all things Fender, I am as confident of the provenance and description of this bass as I can be.

I'm looking for £1,750 and don't think you'd find a cleaner version of this vintage. I'm willing to post for cost but the Bass can also be picked up from Woking (weekends) or Bristol (weekdays).
