Fender Flea Signature Jazz Bass

I don't really get signatures like this. As stated, the MM pickup would make more sense for a Flea signature.... but hey, what do I know?

If the stacked pot thing is the selling point, surely you could just get any jazz and stick a new stacked pot loom in?

Rubbish! Where's the brass bridge earthing strip? The headstock is too pale, too. :)

Seriously though, if it's the Jazz equivalent of my RW P Bass then Fender are onto a winner. I think I'd rather have the fiesta red/tort/rosewood VVT version though - just to match my P.

Nice to see you are finally out of bed. You can go home now  .
Be VERY careful what you wish for

Edit, damn, missed it. IF YOUR P's those colours  . As you were.

That one is a Fender.

I'm sure I've seen something very like that before - original L1000? Probably a good sight cheaper as well and with a better bridge.

Musicman basses never look quite right without a piguard to me!

So is it nitro? It hasn't been reliced like nitro

Spec below, but we all know Fender spec can be, erm, inaccurate :P

Like, er, 21 frets??

To confirm, yep, the spec referred to above does say it is nitro. I don't usually get that excited over another P or J, but the colour, fact it comes with what I'd spec (rosewood/tort), the fact it's modelled after a bass and not just dinged for the fun of it, the pickups, and those stacked knobs....all for under £900??!

The normal roadworns are more expensive?! None of this makes sense.

I have a feeling this will be a good seller. I also think I may break down and buy a bass after a few years off.
