I bought this purely for one of the MIJ tuners that I needed for spares for my Shergold bass. The electrics will need attention as they are buzzing although there seems to be a signal from the pickup. The neck and body are very solid. Great project for someone looking for a cheap backup. Bassassin Posted July 12, 2016 Share Posted July 12, 2016 I had one of these a few years back - which I bought because someone had fitted it with a DiMarzio Model P, which I wanted for a project. It turned out to be a really great-playing bass & much better quality than I'd expected. If I had a correct replacement set of tuners (and the space) I'd be quite tempted by this - GLWTS! Jon.
