Drool!! So many nice pedals here. I've only had my empress compressor for a month or so but it's the best pedal I've ever bought. It's a 'you only notice it when it is turned off' pedal... but I don't think I'll ever play with it off again!
Thanks! My compressor is always on too, just polishes the sound a bit and makes some of the other pedals react a bit more predictably too.

How do you find the para Eq? A couple of venues we play have issues with certain frequencies I'm considering it for this purpose, I've been using the eq on the B3 for this purpose but I find it removes to much of the frequencies sounding the problem and it seems to suck too much bass. I don't mind the B3, but I've recently been switching it in and out of my chain live and loud at gigs and although probably too subtle for most ears I really don't like what it does to my sound even in bypass.

Hunting down a bad frequency in a boomy room is what I mostly use it for actually, that and for rolling off some top end with dirt pedals. It's a great pedal, I don't think Empress makes any bad ones. :)

The latest incarnation...Actually enjoying the Bass Whammy quite a lot, not as "warm" sounding as my WH-1 but a few more useful options! Just one more COG unit to come, then I'll be happy (for a little while!...).

Here's my very funky pedal board. As you can see I love Chunk pedals, whilst the Prunes & Custard into the DiscumBOBulator gives a lovely warm synthy quack. At this stage I'm finally very happy with it so this might really just be it....famous last words  .

My latest-

Added the freeze, and b9. Also missing is the carbon copy delay, as it wasn't needed for this show. It normally sits between the chorus and stutterkill

I currently have an expression pedal off the board for the Xerograph. The board is a PT-1 so I think I might have to bump up to a PT-2 or 3 to fit that on.

Nice board, not a lot of space on there for many more pedals!

Satisfy my curiosity; why do you have all 3 chunk pedals? The OS has the exact filter and fuzz circuit built in, doesn't it?
Great question, I've always found the 00Funk settings to be much squelchier than the OS filter. In comparison, the OS can be incredibly tricky to dial in a new sound, unless you've spent time before building patches. I've also used all 50 of my OS presents! The fuzz is definitely the same circuit. Other than that it's more about positioning on the board and pedal combinations, fuzz>filters, filters>fuzz, for example, the Brown Dog into the Talking Machine is very interesting, whilst OS fuzz > Emma Discumbobulator can get really funky.

new comp added and rearranged the pedals. all the most used pedals are now at the bottom. Now I can also stomp the SubT, Xero and TAFM at the same time. :-)

I've recently added a Blower Box (sounds good at low volume, but kicks ass at high volume), and I'm waiting for my COG custom blender (lots of filters & a couple of boosts built in) to arrive, but still loving the sounds I can get from this board. All my dirt sounds are very much covered, along with a variety of dancy/synthy sounds thanks to 2 filters, distortions & B3 octave options.

Signal path is:
B3 (Just for modulation effects. Expression pedal mainly used for wet/dry blends)
Catalinbread Super Chilli Picoso boost (soon to be replaced with the COG custom blender/booster)
Solidgold Beta
COG Knightfall 66
Idiotbox Blower Box
COG Grand Tarkin
MXR filter
Korg Polytune
EHX Mini QTron
BBE Opto Stomp compressor

What 66 diode settings you using now mate? Just out of curiosity :-)
Ch1 is LED and Ch2 is germanium. I also use my boost pedal to drive the 66 (and all my other dirt pedals too), so I have a couple of flavours for each setting. Killer pedal, it's my go to distortion.

I like that the 'Mini' Q-Tron is the biggest pedal on your board except for the B3!
Lol, It's a dinosaur of a pedal. I love those big old EHX enclosures. I only got it out recently as I saw one for sale on here and I'd forgotten how fat it sounded.

New T-Rex board courtesy of TPJ - not as jam packed as some on here and you could say plenty of space for expansion ;)

Signal from wireless goes into an SFX Micro Thumpinator, then into an EHX Switchblade - this is wired backwards as I occasionally find myself gigging without the wireless so it just means I plug straight into this and switch rather than unplugging leads. Also allows a swifter changeover if the batteries die in the wireless mid gig. It's never happened because I'm anal about changing them but you never know ;)… After the EHX we go into the tuner, octave, Prunes and Custard, chorus and then SansAmp. These days I find myself DI'ing from the transformer derived DI on my amp but there are occasions when the SansAmp will be needed. The Parallel Out goes to my amp.

I like the fact it looks a lot more stupid than it is - in actual fact there are only three fx and one preamp on here so it's all a bit overkill, but it works for me :)

Also the perspective makes it look like the pedals are overhanging the bottom of the board. They're not...
