UK three piece rockabilly / rock & roll band THE KOPY KATZ are looking for a new double bass player.

THE SET:
We play a lot of Stray Cats and 1950's rockers plus our own rockabilly versions of songs by acts like T.Rex, The Rolling Stones & others.

THE SOUND:
Guitar, drums & bass! We love the wildness of Brian Setzer, Lee Rocker & The Stray Cats. It’s at the heart of what we do. If you love them, you’ll love the energy, sound, look and feel of what we try to emulate.

VENUES:
We have play pubs, clubs, festivals (we are playing Americana 2017) plus a couple of 2017 dates in France & Holland, & private parties.

EQUIPMENT:
We have our own top of the range PA system with backdrop and lights plus a new van to shift it all around in.

LOCATION:
We are from Herts (Welwyn) & Essex (Frinton-On-Sea) areas. Ideally, you are not too far.

YOU:
Ideally... you’re a double bass player, fully equipped (bass & amps), fun to be around with backing vocal ability and bags of commitment. If those qualities fit then get in touch. Any age, race, gender, ability, welcome. Note this project is for fun and adventure it’s not our full time job.

If you’re unsure, then get in touch anyway for a chat. We are great guys and don’t bite.
