First came across him on a weird and wonderful Quincy Jones compilation. Was enthralled by what he could do with his harmonica - wonderful musician, and ripe old age.

He was great on the Jaco album, that's unfortunately probably my only encounter with him.

So much of his music out there. A remarkable player.

Found it - with the added bonus of some beautiful double bass from Ray Brown - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SbrrtAsB01Q

Yes, that is lovely.

My favourite version of 'Killer Joe'.
