As per the title i just ordered a dod phasor, envelope and bi fet boost.

i love the sound of my meatbox and dod has always interested me so with the lowish price couldnt resist, and at the very worst gives me some more demos for my youtube channel!

Interested what the 440 is like. Wish they'd re-issue the bass envelope filter. The mix control made that filter for me, but the volume drop made it unuseable live

so theres a bit of low end loss in the 440, but its really not that bad, the filter tho is great i have it before the Feed me so its getting a low end bump from that, but im actually thinking of putting the bifet after it to boost the lows a bit more, that bifet is a really cool take on a boost! the tone has a bit throw so can really help shape the sound. and the phasor does what phasers do and does it well! really happy

Yeah I still use my old bi-fet every now and then to add some phatness!
Shame about the low end loss though, they need to reissue the FX-25b without the Vol dip.

yeh i might try and find one, the low end loss really isnt savage and im guessing as i play in drop c that the loss for me would be more noticeable!

Thanks for your demos Andy!

No intention to hijack this thread, but had a quick question for you.
I saw your Grand Orbiter V2 demo this weekend and now I stumbled upon this thread as I was looking for info on the DOD Phasor.
Unfortunately I don't have the opportunity to to A/B them at a shop, so I wondered which of those 2 phasers you would recommend? I'm mainly looking for a slow and quite subtle swirl to add to a fast repetitive pulsating bass line (with medium OD going on). I'm leaning towards the Grand Orbiter as it has a wet/dry mix and seems very tweakable (but maybe too tweakable?).

Cheers!

It's a close one, really love my red witch moon phaser, but the grand orbiter is nice and can go super slow!

The Dod is nice, very fat sounding!

I realise that didn't really help
