Quick little feeler, I love this bass, but the low F and I aren't the best of friends.

Little buckle rash, which you can see and an unfortunate chunk taken from one of the horns. These were there when I purchased the bass back in April, nothing a little sanding and some wood glue couldn't fix I suppose.

Not adverse to shipping, but would prefer pick up. In regards to a trade, I'd like to see something with 5-6 strings, but I'm open to anything, really. Hoping something might catch my eye!

Thanks!

Craig

EDIT: Should probably have put a point in that I'm in Central Scotland.

Double EDIT:

Some more details!
9pc Maple/Rosewood/Walnut neck-through w/Graphite reinforcement rods
Rosewood top/Maple wing body
Rosewood fretboard w/Abalone dot inlay
Mono-rail IV bridge (15.5mm string spacing)
E6 3-band eq w/Eq bypass switch

Scale: 35"
63mm at NUT
96mm at 24F

Low F?! blimey, that must be a steel cable on there. I thought it was strung for a high F# instead - more useful!
Nice bass though, lovely.

F#? Really? Surely, if you go to F# then you're changing the convention of the note physically under (but higher in tone) the C being an F?

Please excuse me asking, but why would that be easier?

Craig, please excuse me de-railing your For Sale thread. Nice bass BTW.

Daz isn't wrong. It is infact a steel cable for a Low F.

Surprisingly a whole lot of players go B-F# with higher strings in a 7. I don't know why exactly it's F#, I've actually been considering doing that myself if strings weren't a nightmare to find.

I agree - surely a low F# (fourth below B or a high F (fourth above C)?

I'm less about the money on this one, more on trades.

More about wanting a new bass more than anything!

I don't, unfortunately, have anything to trade :).

Have to start saving :).

Hopefully it'll still be available in a few weeks.

Not much interest, so I'd expect so, but trades are king with it, I wouldn't be able to get anything near the quality of it for £600 and these go for about £900 new.
