chrisanthony1211 Posted September 25, 2016 Share Posted September 25, 2016 (edited) I've had replacement machine heads in my 64 Precision ever since I got it, no matter how I cleaned and lubricated the originals they were just so stiff as to not be practical to use. I recently read about Tri Flow dry lubrication, although a little sceptical I stripped my old tuners down and applied the lube wherever there would be friction.......and well......what a difference, these are now like new, I'm so pleased and surprised to have the original 54 year old tuners back on, they turn smoothly and effortlessly...and stay in tune. The Gotoh replacements I had installed will be sold shortly as they are thankfully no longer required, although they are rather splendid! This stuff is highly recommended..
