They used to be visitors at my first flat in London. We had a few pretty dodgy characters round but Nancy was the only one ever to be physically ejected for 'bad behaviour'.

This may have involved syringes . . .

This I have no doubt! I just don't think films such as Sid and Nancy, The Doors movie etc etc can ever accurately portray real events. There's lots of reasons for that which we can all understand.

Guess it will all be romantised, but my memories of punks as a young kid was volience & glue sniffing , although most that acted like that where more rockabilly / physicobilly types more than punks.
