Spector ns5xl neck-thru , 35" scale ,Pau Ferro finger board and solid quilted maple body . I bought this bass of here about a year ago and since then it's had a full recommissioning from Chris May at Overwater , so the bass is in superb condition apart from the few knocks its acquired during its gigging life . I had contemplated refinishing this instrument but its a genuine bass with a certain mojo ! Its fitted with the John East circuit with mid controls making it much more flexible than the standard pre amp . Comes with a generic flight case .Probably should have dusted the bass before i took the photos ! Not looking for trades .Reduced to £1450 ono plus delivery . Many thanks for looking .

Some further info from a previous owner , serious mojo ! ....wedding gigs ? It usually kicks off at weddings !

Hi
Here's some info for you on #053. I used to own this a good few years back.
I put the East pre-amp in it and it was a special version done for this bass. I can't remember the exact detail.
I also put the black/gold knobs on - a special order from John East.
The pickups I put in, if they haven't been swapped out, are P and J versions of the EMG soap bars. This makes it sound very different from the stock pups.

Some of the mojo on the body is there as this bass was used to defend myself from an assailant with a pool cue during a gig, fortunately a Spector is a better weapon than a pool cue and the idiot was quickly dispatched backwards down a short flight of stairs leading to the stage.
This was my main gigging bass for around two years and probably got gigged 50-60 times by me doing wedding band duties.
Great to see it in such great condition. It's a gem that I sold to raise cash at the time.
Good luck with the sale.

All the best
Sean
