I ended up going for something else in the end while testing some things out in a shop, so hopefully soon we'll see these stocked in brick n' mortar shops where people can have a noodle! There's tons of choice from the smaller companies and it's really nice and endearing to see someone like Jow attempting something new, instead of just offering numerous P+J body shapes that I keep seeing from smaller manufactures. Haven't got the cash for one of these right now, but if I could get one with a P configuration I'd be interested in one of these. Number6 Posted November 8, 2016 Share Posted November 8, 2016 I have stripped down the Dirtybird.....i have an EMG TBHZ on order and will fit and remove the pickguard. I will probably fit a Gibson style cover over the pup/strings. The tuners and bridge are decent quality out of the box but the nut is far too high and needs removing and reducing in height. [/quote] I'm happy with mine but i wanted it as a modification bass. All the basic supplied stuff is fine.
