Any 1590 pedal similar to a Phat Phuk?

Hi y'all,

Just for fun I am building a 'micro' pedalboard loaded only with 1590 sized pedals, so far I have most of the stuff I need for the regular gig I play (Rock-Pop) but was wondering if there is something similar to a Wren & Cuff Phat Phuk out there.

Also, if you have any suggestions for an OD pedal in the same format please let me know.

I am aware of the One Control Hookers Green and I have a COG Custom with a Knightfall 66 circuit inside of it (so I have an idea of how that one sounds).

Thanks for reading.

Cheers!

I currently use a Fairfield Accountant as a dirty boost. Sounds much nicer than the Phat Phuk to me. It's a compressor, but set to low compression it's a fantastic mild overdrive/boost in 1590A size - and there's one in the classifieds!

Otherwise there is the Southampton Fifth Gear - the old model is 1590A with just a volume knob, the new one is slightly larger with more controls.

Thanks for the advice!

I snapped an Accountant the other day from the forum, so that's on the board ;)
Still figuring out the settings that I like because I prefer it as a dirty boost rather than a clean comp atm.

I had read it on Ovnilabs' website and it was a nice surprise to plug it in and get that nastiness out of a comp.

Thinking of getting a Knightfall 66 from Tom at COG, just to have that contrast between the Fairfield mild OD and the 66's more defined OD/Distorsion.

Cheers Danny!
