Clearly not as good as the ones Andyjr1515 builds ;) ;)

Andy's builds look fantastic but moving the bridge back so far just makes the top frets unplayable for me. I'm sure anyone that has tried to build an EB3/SG style bass will have learnt to appreciate the original lightweight design (including it's quirks) and the skill of luthiery in them.

I bought one of these last year on spec - I'd never played one - and it's become one of my favourites which I use exclusively for my 50s / 60s band. It's light, very easy to play and has that plonky vintage sound that works so well for the older material. The shorter scale length means that you lose some definition on the open E but you get used to that. I paid £600 and to be honest I think it was a steal!

Thanks Wiggybass.
I couldn't agree more. I have two of these, this one being the better condition, that's why I am selling.

I use the bridge pickup which has plenty of punch and definition full up to complement the classic warmth of the neck pup.
