[size=5]I bought this bass just over a year ago from r16ktx but has stayed in its case most of the time. It's in excellent condition - still has the plastic film on the scratchplate. They don't come up for sale very often.[/size]

@Bbigg Kev - it's a nicely made instrument. I had one of the earlier 6-string Variax guitars and it was OK but not as well-made as this. I currently use one of the newer James Tyler Variax's as my main guitar when on guitar duty and I'd say it's as well-built as any Fender; and it's a Korean model too, not U.S. I haven't tried one of the newer Yamaha-based Line 6 guitars....

Great bass sounds available, nearest i have ever got to an upright.
seeing The Squaronaires bass player use it live made me get one. Sort of Royal approval to play synthesized electric bass in a Big Band :P

It's been 3 years since this was posted. I'd probably say it's either been sold or the seller has decided to keep it 😂🤷🏼‍♂️
