I had an Ibanez from 2000 and that was active. I've never seen a passive Ibby. That said, the guy has all the other bits from the same bass. The body is a bit smashed up though. It's a real shame. [/quote] The bass he's selling has three pots. I assumed that it was it was vol-vol-tone. Looking at the loom in the link, it looks like it may be vol-blend-bass/treble on a concentric pot. Controls are described as vol, tone, balance, pickups are not described as active, whereas they are in the specs of the others. GCYPbass Posted December 2, 2016 Share Posted December 2, 2016 Lower models such as 300s-400s were passive in the 90s. My first proper bass was SR370 and it was passive with pj pickups.
